  1. I rode it about a dozen times during ERT and still didn't get a photo I liked (though their system crashed at one point so for part of that time the camera wasn't even working)
  2. 22 for me including 19 this weekend.
  3. The best option for water is to just take a souvenir cup/water bottle with you to the park. Assuming things haven't changed since last year, you can take it to the park with you and have it filled with ice water for free at any food stand. Even the sodas aren't a bad deal as it's only $1.99 to have them refilled with soda.
  4. I think so, but your best bet would be to call the park at 1-800-288-0808 for more info.
  5. Yes. Park is open 10am-10pm both Friday and Saturday, though it will likely be crowded on Saturday.
  6. Turn off all the lights on FoF and put the fog and special lighting back. An indoor coaster isn't much fun if you can see where you're going...
  7. Only 3 for me, but I've only been to the park once this season
  8. I saw them working on it today... Also, anyone know why Face/Off was closed today?
  9. I don't see why they should care - you know what to expect, so you can't sue them if you get injured from riding it multiple times in a row.
  10. It's unfortunate that it's taking so long to fix, but at least we'll know it's a really safe ride when they finish fixing everything :)
  11. Pretty impressive for a small independently-owned park, but it still can't compare to the Beast.
  12. You mean like the ones made by Larson International, Inc.? I was just thinking the same thing :)
  13. Beast is best done from the front seat (or at least somewhere near the front). If you're going to be there the entire day, the best time to experience it at night is during the last hour that the park is open (the so-called "power hour") - lots of fun things happen then... Viking Fury - the only way to do this ride is from the very back row on either side. You should also ride the classic flat rides in Coney Mall while you're over there, especially since you've got experience making Monster pods spin. Plus, many of them are near a roller coaster (Monster is next to Racers, Zephyr is near Flight of Fear and Shake Rattle & Roll is near Vortex).
  14. Interesting... a live-action Yogi Bear and new versions of both Yogi and the Jetsons. Even more reasons to keep HB the way it currently is.
  15. I've ridden it twice now - once in the back and once in the front. Although I did feel that the ride was a bit too short and that the timing of the police sirens was off a bit (the sirens sounded before we reached the police cars, leaving only flashing lights as we zoomed by them...), I thought it was a fun ride.
  16. There really isn't much traffic along 741 until you get to Kings Mills Road (where it ends). Being first in line for IJST is not going to be an easy task, so get to PKI really early (no later than about 9:30am - the rides open at 10am). I arrived at PKI shortly after 10am this past Saturday, and the line was already pretty long by 10:30.
  17. The campground is returning next year according to PKI. There are several other campgrounds in the area though... Lake Cozy-dale: 10621 Cozaddale-Murdoch Road, Cozaddale, http://www.lakecozydale.com Morgan's Riverside Campground: 5701 SR 350, Oregonia, http://www.morganscanoe.com (11.7 miles / 17 minutes) Cedarbrook Campground: 760 Franklin Road, Lebanon, http://www.cedarbrookcampground.com (9.5 miles / 16 minutes) Olive Branch Campground: 6985 Wilmington Road, Oregonia, http://www.gocampingamerica.com/olivebranch (13 miles / 15 minutes) Others that are sorta close: Cesar Creek State Park: 8570 E. SR 73, Waynesville (20.3 miles / 33 minutes) Spring Valley Frontier Campground: 9580 Collette Road, Waynesville, http://www.gocampingamerica.com/springvalley (25.4 miles / 40 minutes) Stonelick State Park: 2895 Lake Drive, Pleasant Plain (Goshen), (28.2 miles / 45 minutes) - interesting note: Google's map thing will not find this unless you use "Goshen" (even though the official address is "Pleasant Plain").
  18. I'm not going to believe too much of this right now. I already sent Paramount a small note a while back telling them I sincerely hoped that they didn't get rid of HB. We should all do the same... :)
  19. Maybe if we all complain to Time Warner Cable, they'll get the point that we don't want to pay for digital cable so we can see our favorite classic HB cartoons (PS - Ed, Edd n Eddie is not lame!)
  20. Oddly enough, I remember a time when Yogi Bear cartoons were shown on Nickelodeon. Of course, this was before Cartoon Network existed, and then Ted Turner had to go move all the HB cartoons to Boomerang, which is only available on Digital Cable to most people in this area (pretty much everywhere except Delhi Township and those in Kentucky and Indiana)
  21. I wonder if employees count as Gold Pass members... I've always wanted to go up to International Restaurant :)
  22. Don't forget to ride Beastie while you're in HB... Best time to ride it is anytime after 8PM - there's usually not much of a line then.
  23. Yes, they can dig 200 feet straight down for Drop Zone, but that's not nearly the kind of space that would be required for a roller coaster tunnel.
  24. I've been there well over a dozen times this season. Of course, I work there, so I guess I have sort of an advantage...
