  1. I wouldn't trust that Facebook page. It's the same one that said there was a tarp on the drop over the winter. I don't think that they've ever been right on their "rumors".
  2. Great shots, thanks for posting.
  3. My favorite one was the first time I enjoyed The Beast. I've rode it many times before in the past, but was never a fan of it. I guess I always went on it to make my Dad happy. But, one day, something changed, and I fell in love with it. I've been a fan ever since. One of those days I will never forget.
  4. I'm really hoping to be able to go on Family Day in August. The park looks like it'll make for one memorable day. Probably will make a quick visit to Kings Island in Kings Island the morning, before Stricker's Grove opens for the day.

    Ticket Use

Pricing is actually up here. Going on what SSR1966 said, it is cheaper, if she has to buy admission ticket, to get the general ticket through Kings Island. Although the Gold Pass does save $13.00, there is no way your sister is going to find a ticket that cheap. Anyways, I'm very interested in how this turns out. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

    Ticket Use

I don't believe so. I mean, how I always thought it would work, you have your ticket to get into KI (in your case, your season pass), and then that second ticket gets you into the Timberwolf Amphitheater. So, if I'm right, then she would have to buy her own ticket.
  8. Course I missed it... thanks Don.
  9. I could simply have missed the topic, but it Kings Island 2011 operating calendar has been posted. Calendar
  10. Um... wow! By the way, on a death match, means one of them has to die?
  11. Good to know (think that's what Cedar Points are too). Thanks! Why they don't post it on their website, but Cedar Point does, just baffles me.
  12. One time locker is two dollars. (At least out by Diamondback. I decided to throw my keys and wallet in there... would much rather pay for a replacement key then have to figure out a way to get back to Columbus without a phone, keys and wallet....). Not sure what an all day locker cost.
  13. Ah, nice to know. That's not specified on the website. On the Haunt website, it says there is no reentry, but it doesn't specify that takes place AFTER 7PM. (Neither is there a mention of locker price either...)
  14. Didn't think you were allowed to leave and reenter during Halloween Haunt.
  15. I hope they keep it in Ohio. I always had some hope deep down inside that Cedar Fair/Geauge Lake would get the coaster back, and keep it in operations. Would be like Sea Dragon at Zoombezi Bay here in Columbus.
  16. I would actually love to have Charlie Brown or Snoopy, but would hate to carry it around all day... guess you would have to get a locker until you left with it.

It's very possible, but I don't think Don would appreciate me giving step by step instructions, so I won't. So, my guess, you won't get the answer you're hoping for.
  18. Really Cuse I saw King Cobra run as well to. Don't be so quick to roll someone out.
  19. If you're right, you just became my new best friend.
  20. Sonny has been removed from the list of rides on pki.com.
  21. Do you realize that if that ride reopened the risk they are taking for someone else to get injured or the ride have another accident? Then it will be back to the courts, a settlement made, and the ride closed for another lengthy period of time. Too much has been invested in this ride and it still doesn't work like it should. Too bad Ohio's Lemon Law doesn't cover faulty coasters. It's as good as gone. They just can't afford to rip it out yet. I'm happy their trying to fix it, I really am. It doesn't mean that I'm going to go there this year though. And if they tear it down, I won't be back until they have a new coaster. I'm just sick and tired of hearing it every other post of people complaining about it. I know how you feel, but I don't feel like sorting through 20 pages of "tear it down" post. Annoying, and part of the reason I'm not nearly as active as I used to be.
  22. I've almost given up on people who say tear it down, but I'll make one more exception for this site... Do people not realize that to some of us, it's our favorite ride? It's the only reason why I choose to go to Kings Island over another park really... Diamond Back drew me down last year, but as fun as it is, it's not enough of a reason to go back again.
  23. I think I just made up my mind which park I plan on visiting this year...
