The Garden of Hope is a replica of Jesus’ tomb located in Covington, Kentucky. It officially opened to the public on Palm Sunday in 1958. It was the inspiration of Reverend Morris H. Coers after his visit to the Holy Land in 1938. He may not have been able to take everyone to Jerusalem, but he could bring Jerusalem to America.

Sorry to say I was unaware of the existence of this place, or have forgotten if I ever knew. Very impressive and quite moving. Thank you for sharing, Mr. Roberts.

I found it on http://www.roadsideamerica.com/, the website guide to unusual attractions, tourist traps, weird vacations, and road trips. I had never heard of it either until about two years ago.

There are a lot of interesting things on this site, Mr. Roberts. I will have to explore at length when my eyes aren't so tired. Thanks for the  referral.
